I have been building things on the internet for a long time, some of which are still running. I care about open data, reproducible research, and boring infrastructure.

Outside of engineering I'm interested in type design, amateur radio, electronic music, and a long-standing involvement with several projects that resist easy description. I'm a contributor to various web standards working groups. Opinions on typography available on request.
